Growing up, my family moved pretty frequently. In elementary school we were living in Connecticut, for middle school we moved to Wisconsin, and high school saw us in Kentucky; then of course I got my degrees in North Carolina. Moving between schools gave me a lot of exposure to different curricula and teaching styles. It also meant adapting to varying standards and rigor. I bring that adaptability into my sessions: rewording explanations, slowing down or speeding through topics, even intonation. I understand that there is no Right Way to learn. Needs change, over time and across subjects. With over a decade of experience working with students across the country from diverse backgrounds and varying ability levels, my goal is to meet you where you’re at and get you where you want to be.

I live with my fiancée in Carrollton. Together we like to try new restaurants and play board games. Sometimes I foster cats.
